Mr Carlo Andrea Bravi is a Urologist specialized in robotic surgery and uro-oncology, currently working at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He has extensive experience of robotics and surgical training with a wide range of different surgical platforms. He graduated from University of Bologna (IT) with distinction; he completed his training in Urology at San Raffaele University in Milan (IT). He underwent a clinical research fellowship in biostatistics and epidemiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City (US). He has trained at OLV Hospital in Aalst (BE), a renowned high-volume robotic center, where he has reached proficiency in all mayor robotic operations performed in Urology as well as in table assistance. In 2021, he was appointed adj. Medical Director of ORSI Academy in Ghent (BE), corollary training center of OLV Hospital, where he coordinated training and scientific activities. He is a certified trainer and proctor for robotic surgery, including the certified curriculum for robotic radical prostatectomy issued by the EAU Robotic Urology Society (ccERUS) which is the first worldwide certified curriculum for robotic surgery. He moved to the UK in 2023, being appointed at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London as Senior Fellow in complex retroperitoneal surgery. He has been recently appointed as Consultant Urological Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital, where he will start his practice in early 2024. Deeply involved in clinical research, he is author of several publications, and winner of research grants in the past; his main areas of interest are uro-oncology and surgical training.
