Abbie is currently studying Medicine and Surgery at Leeds University and currently plans to enter a world-class surgical training program after she graduates. Abbie also studied Physiology at Kings College, London. Whilst studying medicine, Abbie undertakes an extra study of robotic-assisted surgery to give her an advantage when applying for her training. In addition to her RAS study and the clinical paper research she undertakes for GRASP, Abbie is also a part of the University Sports and Exercise Medicine Society.  Abbie plans to inspire her patients by leading by example with a committed exercise regime, which includes holding certificates in powerlifting in the barbell society, she has recently run a marathon and is a keen skier. She has a wide variety of skills outside of medicine such as programming in python.
