DR MAHIR YOUSIF FRCSEng, JBS, FMAS, DMAS. Dr Mahir has 10 years in the commercial world and 23 yeas in the medical world which enables him to be an ideal liaison between industry and surgery.  Dr Mahir is a General Surgeon with over 14 years of experience. He has worked with government, private and military hospitals in Jordan, UAE and UK. He earned his medical degree, MBBS, in 2008 from Jordan University of Science and Technology and his postgraduate Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery in 2013. He has finished a 5 year postgraduate accredited surgical training program in Jordan and England and passed the Jordanian Board of Surgery along with the FRCS examinations in 2016. Before joining MEMP, he was lastly working in Dubai Healthcare City at Dr Sulaiman AlHabib in DHCC for 3 years occupying a General Surgery specialist position and Chief of Resident doctors in the hospital. In his last job, at Dr Sulaiman AlHabib hospital, in addition to surgical duties, he was responsible for the staffing of doctors, quality and compliance, international accreditation, starting of new services and being the interim medical director to liaise with the DHA in the COVID19 crisis. Before Sulaiman AlHabib he was working in UK before as a General Surgery Specialist Registrar. He has a full Jordanian General Surgery Board, Full FRCS and full GMC registration along with DHA, DHCC specialist surgeon licenses.
